Having completed the 1st and 2nd lifts of brickwork of the ground floor, JBS has now started work on the first floor, commencing with the installation of steelwork, flooring and erection of internal walls and exterior brickwork.

More on the subject of façade retention, an area of expertise for which we are becoming somewhat renowned.

This is a new build project to construct a bespoke 6000 sq ft family home to exact client requirements and to the latest Code 4 planning conditions.

Located in in the Hillside conservation area of Wimbledon, London SW19, the project is complicated by the requirement to retain the Edwardian façade to complement the adjacent house, coupled with construction of a deep basement located immediately behind. That’s 3 storeys, plus basement, all to be built behind the original façade – quite a challenge but one that we are up to.
